The individual will lead strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories delivering improved network efficiencies, productivity savings, improving cash flow and meeting quality/service expectations across all business areas. The Category Manager will work collaboratively with all Synergy North America manufacturing sites for assigned categories. Works closely with internal stakeholders to manage overall business relationships and strategies with key suppliers. Leads Procurement category projects and represents Procurement on cross-functional teams, related projects and other key initiatives. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Synergy Flavors Policies & Controls. This individual will have relevant experience in the consumer packaged goods, food or food ingredient manufacturing industries. Primary commodity categories under management will include coffee, tea, agricultural ingredients, food chemicals, packaging.
