The Accountant II is responsible for providing general accounting support to various levels of management within the company. The Accountant II will provide timely analysis for balance sheet accounts.  They will also provide backup support for other Accounting staff. 


  • Provide daily cash tracking.
  • Prepare month end bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare numerous general ledger entries to support business activities.
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations and perform variance analysis as needed.
  • Prepare and process monthly commissions and quarterly rebates.
  • Participate in the annual budget process.
  • Manage the fixed asset process by tracking and reporting acquisitions and disposals in a timely manner.  This also includes recording the acquisition or disposal of fixed assets
  • Administrator for Concur (Travel & Entertainment reporting system) and recording of all T&E expenses.
  • Provide support for Federal and State income tax returns and Federal filings.
  • Complete various Company registrations and state government reports.
  • Provide documentation for external and internal audits.
  • Assist the other accounting personnel as needed

  • BA / BS degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Analytical problem solving ability & performs with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within short deadlines.
