  • Overview

    The incumbent should have experience within B2B marketing and knowledge of the food and beverage market.  The role requires an individual who is a great storyteller and loves to connect the dots to increase brand equity.  Expertise in creative presentations and ability to synthesize food and beverage trends into consumer insights is critical.  This coupled with the ability to translate them into creative and engaging customer workshops is paramount to success.


    • Understanding of the market and key customer needs and trends through analysis of customer brands/products, growth rates, market shares, new product introductions and competitive landscape.
    • Part of a team to develop new insights and solutions for customers and the market. Work with Marketing Director in the identification of potential gaps through in-depth analysis in assigned categories.
    • Develop relationships with Sales, Business Development and R&D/Application team members to assist in planning, coordinating and executing customer visit marketing activities.
    • Attend assigned conferences/tradeshows to anticipate industry trends.
    • Development of creative promotions, materials and content, clearly positioning Synergy Flavors as leaders in Art, Science, and Insights.
    • Knowledge of and translation of flavor technologies and technical expertise into innovation messages
    • Thought leadership and execution of communication internally to the sales and technical teams.
    • Assists with longer-term strategic initiatives.
    • Assists with development, production and distribution of promotional / collateral materials to support S&M initiatives
    • Develop and execute some digital marketing/social media initiatives
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.


    • 5+ years Marketing experience in a B2B environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Food Marketing or related degree
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) – Intermediate to Advance
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and the aptitude to learn and understand technical and scientific subject matter.
    • Proficiency in databases such as Globaldata, IRI, Mintel, Technomic, and Euromonitor.
    • Working proficiency in digital marketing as well as social media / content marketing
    • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to excel in a dynamic, changing and evolving environment.
    • Excellent written, storytelling communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with different function
    • High level of energy, enthusiasm and positivity
    • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
    • Highly self-motivated individual
