  • Overview

    The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for selecting and processing both shipping documents and other warehouse administrative paperwork.  This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and will assist the warehouse in assuring the accurate and timely shipment of customer orders.  This position will support the warehouse, customer service, production and planning departments.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support for the warehouse
    • Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, COA’s and BOM’s
    • Provide customer order information to Logistics Coordinator
    • Execute all required paperwork and documentation to support shipments
    • Support warehouse and distribution initiatives
    • Monitor completion of finished goods for order to be shippe
    • Work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse staff to meet daily shipping needs
    • Assist Warehouse Manager and Lead in printing pick sheet for order picker
    • Work with Planning on finished goods inventory discrepancies

    Qualifications

    • HS Diploma/GED Required
    • 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
    • Experience with 5S and LEAN manufacturing principles required
    • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
    • Experience with an ERP system, barcode equipment or other inventory software program
    • Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, solid analytical skills, good communicator, ability to work cross functionally
    • Ability to move and continuously lift 50lbs throughout the day
    • Must follow safety requirements and wear PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, face shield and respirator)
    • Experience with driving a fork lift
