    The Customer Service Representative addresses the needs of the customer in an effort to provide satisfaction in the most efficient and cost effective manner.  He/she will answer customer questions, solve problems, promote Synergy Flavors products and handle initial customer complaints and route to appropriate personnel.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Direct contact with customers by telephone, email, fax
    • Schedule transportation for finished goods
    • Issue Pick tickets for shipping and invoicing for orders shipped
    • Assist in coordination of order entry, schedule of ship dates, resolution of customer complaints/issues, and notification of shipped orders
    • Daily management of system database – new customer requirements, customer setup, labeling requirements and product enrichments
    • Verify accuracy of all information received. Correct orders that are turned in incorrectly.
    • Ensure that production and delivery meet specific customer needs and information is passed on to appropriate production schedulers and shipping personnel in a timely manner. Follow up is required
    • Educate customers about products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
    • Coordination of off-site storage for materials

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED Required, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • 3 or more years of customer service experience
    • Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental relationships
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in problem analysis and problem resolution
    • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • A passion for excellence and customer service
    • Strong project management and organizational skills in a high energy environment.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from tasks
    • Excel, Word experience required, Microsoft AX a plus
